Inertial dry-fire trainer. It measures the angle your bore is pointing rather than the distance to a target, so 10 m-equivalent decimal scoring holds up in a three-metre hallway.

HOLDSHOT clamps an inertial sensor to your barrel and measures the exact angle and direction the bore is pointing. The companion app renders a professional aim trace, applies ISSF decimal scoring automatically, and tells a dry fire apart from a live round.
Camera-based trainers need a scaled target, a fixed distance and controlled lighting. HOLDSHOT measures angle, not distance — so the 10 m-equivalent score is the same whether you are three metres from a blank wall or standing on the firing line. No printed scaled targets, no region-of-interest configuration, no visual marker detection. Scores from the living room and from the range stay directly comparable.
Pre-shot hold, trigger break and follow-through rendered as a high-fidelity trace against the target face, in standard ISSF decimal scoring and PointMm conventions — the same visual feedback loop Olympic-level shooters use to diagnose errors and build stability.
A spring-piston rifle's dry impulse can be larger than a match PCP's live one, so a fixed threshold cannot work. A six-shot enrolment teaches HOLDSHOT the acoustic and inertial signature of your specific firearm, and the classifier keeps refining its decision boundary in-session rather than relying on hardcoded numbers.
Inertial sensors drift. Aggressive auto-recentring hides it — and erases the slow aim wander that is genuine coaching data along with it. HOLDSHOT instead waits until the gun is truly at rest to apply a zero-rate update, shows a drift-confidence arc so you know how far to trust the current origin, and leaves re-centring as a deliberate one-tap action.
Review a session on the large screen of a Mac, or take an iPhone or Android device straight to the firing line. Same app, same session record.
